Someone who has twelve of these recommended these for capturing wildlife in the wooded area of our lot. We have two that have worked perfectly and will probably get more. Very pleased with the video quality both daylight and nighttime. This is the best camera at the price. We tried a similar priced camera recommended by Amazon, some Chinese company, which was a toy compared to this Browning camera.Purchase from known brands, I was very impressed with the quality of the materials, packaging, instructions, and user-interface of this trail camera. If you're looking for one at this price, you will not be let down with this product.Highly RecommendThis is still a good trailcamera, it’s a little more grainy then I’d like. But it still takes good pictures.#2 I bought after trying out one. Was impressed with picture quality, ease of use, and battery life. I should have sent this one back when I got it and battery terminal were flipped around. It was an easy fix and all seemed to be working well for first year. Started having trouble last season with on off switch not working but I could get it on or off after a few times. Now this year I am getting format error messages with SD cards. When I can get one to work it takes one pic then reads card full. Expected better from Browning, my bad I guess for not returning right away. Just a lemon maybe, other cam has held up well. Still doubtful I would purchase again.Been using these on the AZ Border for 8 years now.Our camera's are out 24/7 and they last about 4 years before giving up the ghost. They take the blazing hot heat in the summer and the freezing cold of the winter.Plus the monsoon downpours. Video quality is good, reset speed is good.Only thing I wish they had is a setting for different motion detection.Sometimes all I get are the wind patterns of southern AZ.The no glow IR is a must have for what we're tracking. After days of research I landed on the Browning Dark Ops. First purchase of six cameras was in 2015. I’ve only had one fail after three years of use and these are left out year around in fairly harsh conditions in Oregon. All are in a browning security box and secured to a tree with a python cable. The picture quality is great and on a single set of lithium batteries I average about 10,000 pics on the lowest picture quality selection using a 32-64 GB Sandisk class 10 SD card. Keep in mind, the summer heat will take a toll on the lithium batteries no matter what camera you have. I average 1.5 battery replacement a year per camera. Easy operation as well. I don’t think you will be disappointed. Suggest you do research on how to deploy a camera to alleviate false triggers and to get the best pictures.Ordered 2 of this model. First had broken internal spring clip that would not allow sd card to remain inserted into camera rendering camera useless and never got to use at all. Sent in for repairs and awaiting new camera to return.Second camera used for a few days intermittently trying different settings to get best battery life. Batteries (Energizer Max) per many reviews lasted about 3 weeks. Poor consumption in my view. First time I've replaced batteries following instructions and the "release button" feels as if it is broken or malfunctioned. Inserting battery tray with fresh batteries and the tray will not stay inserted. The "metal catch" inside compartment is not working with cheap plastic release button. Browning! 2 cameras/ 2 malfunctioning units because of cheap plastic! The camera quality has been good and clear but why would these units go to market without testing the everyday switches/springs that consumer relies on? I can't justify price of these cameras when they use cheap plastic. Do I go up in price to a more expensive unit? Are they using cheap plastic as well? I would appreciate others who are using these cameras to give me their opinions on similar issues or different models I should consider. This second camera is being returned as well.Thank you, GregI bought this one this hunting season and have been 100% pleased. Takes good pictures (sorry, no rating on video as I don't yet do that) both up close and at a fair distance. I like the simple "on" or "off" switch, so that if I want to change anything in the set up or delete the prior SD card pics, I don't make the mistake to alter what I want and forget to move the switch to working position and miss photo opportunities until next time. It has amazing battery life (except when you make the mistake listed above, lol). Very pleased !this is a great camera. supplier was very friendly when contacted. arrived early. good quality product and pictures are amazing! Definitely recommend. Suis un peu déçu par la basse qualité photo.I purchased this trail cam for security and it works excellent...first of all i was to get it on a Thursday and it came 4 days earlier than expected, love amazon!...its very easy to use and understand. The range, color are exact what I wanted it for.Bon piège, rapide, léger, bonne autonomie. On regrattera qu'en RapidFire les photos n'ont pas une résolution supérieur à du HD(donc 2Mpix environ?)
