I honestly thought this because I've always wanted mine I always wanted to see how they were and see what they seen the distance is surrounding and I also bought it to keep in my windowsill to buy on the outside of my house but that didn't work so well so I wouldn't buy it for that reason just get yourself a security system. I do however just hook it up for fun sometimes and other times my daughter who's only five I put it up in her bedroom while she's playing instead of a baby monitor I just put this in her room it sits there and I could just check in on her from time to time.There are three floors in my house so a lot of times I can't hear too well on the above floors and I'm on the bottom floor and vice versa.But I did buy a memory card to go with this because it was the option to do that and I think that's the only way it will work is with a memory card so I bought a 64 gig for it so far so good like I said I didn't get much use out of it not yet anyway it's fairly new to me I've only had it for a period of time right now but the little bit that I did use it was clear quality it's funny to use really fun I enjoyed every moment of using this setting it up and I thought it was so cool to have a camera that you didn't know was there in another device I always thought that spy stuff was kind of cool I absolutely love it I think it's fun it's useful especially if you have the direct purpose for it it works great inexpensive definitely worth the value and you really cannot tell that it is a camera which is one of the coolest things ever so yes I highly recommend this product is great all around five stars thank you and I hope this review is helpful for you to make your decision it's fuj...Thanks...
